Unforgettable Mother's Day Church Service

Mother’s Day: The one designated day that we can thank the moms in our life for being so amazing and special.

Mother’s day is one of the most popular days for families to attend church. And we know that it can be a challenge to come up with fun and memorable ideas to celebrate all of the mother’s who attend that Sunday. We’ve included a few churches that made the most of Mother’s Day by implementing clever ideas into their Sunday services—from photogenic furry friends to oversized floral backdrops.  Here’s a few takeaways from the best in the biz, that will get the creative juices flowing on your team, so that you can make your next service one that your guests will remember for years to come.

Houston's First Baptist Church

From custom designed print artwork graphics to beautifully themed wall displays, Houston’s First Baptist Church made sure that their entire service celebrated all the moms who attended. Photoboxx printed all photos tagged with #HFBCLoop and church volunteers hung the prints on a fun display wall for guests to stop by and quickly find their prints.  By Sunday evening, Photoboxx printed over 200 Instagram and Twitter photos with families celebrating the mother’s in their life.

Park Cities Baptist Church

Park Cities Baptist Church went for bight and bold for this year’s Mother’s Day service. Sunday guests were drawn to the beautiful floral backdrop wall, which made for the perfect family photo. As guests tagged their Mother’s Day service photos with #pcbcmoms or @parkcitiesbaptistchurch on social media, their posts were instantly printed for the perfect take-home keepsake from the special day.

True Hope Church

True Hope Church brings Photoboxx to their big holiday services and special events throughout the year. This year, they wanted to make a big impact that would ensure guests wouldn’t forget this Mother’s Day experience. Mamas & Llamas! What better way than to bring a special guest to snap photos with in between services. In addition to True Hope’s furry friend, they’ve also found that themed signs are a great way to get guests engaged and snapping photos during their hashtag printing events. Attendees tagged #truehopelovesmoms to take home their free prints of the social media posts.

Anthem Church

Anthem Church brought Photoboxx to their Mother’s Day services at both the Coeur d'Alene and Hayden, Idaho locations this year. The oversized leaf print wall added a fun element to photos and was a big hit with Sunday guests.  The Anthem Church team took advantage of the Photoboxx in-app camera feature and offered to take photos of guests who don’t use Instagram or Twitter, so they could still take home prints from the Mother’s Day service.

The #FOWMom hashtag is now curated with hundreds of pink, yellow and purple clad photos of Fellowship of Wildwood Mother’s Day Sunday guests. 🙌 Church-goers took a minute to snap a quick photo with friends and family in front of the bright colorful photo wall and took home a customized Mother’s Day themed print-outs to remember the holiday by.

Photoboxx is an awesome interactive element that can be incorporated into services or events of any size.
